Your Shortcut to Know, Like and Trust

Your Shortcut to Know, Like and Trust

When you see someone who has authored a book, what do you know about them? If you are like most you will list things like

  • they are an expert
  • they have clout
  • they are expensive

If you had the opporutnity to work with an author would you hesitate? Probably not, especially if they wrote about subject in which you heed help. Being an author is a shortcut to getting your prospect to know like and trust you! It proves you are an authority. People understand you know what you are talking about.

"Every single one of us should have books." Jeff Herring Content Creation Expert

Not sure you ARE that expert? When I taught in the public school system, I often brought experts into my classroom. The definition I used to determine if they were an expert? They had to know more about something than I did!

Do you know more about your subject than your potential client? I would think you know tons more than they know! You are not writing a book for your peers, you are writing a book for potential clients. They are waiting to hear from you!

Not sure how to start writing a book? Start by finding a book type here.

Excellent post, Brenda! Being a traditionally-published author of two bestseller books, I can vouch that being a published author has opened up a floodgate of opportunities for me! Not to mention, global fame (and some fortune)!.
