Who could possibly be that mad to want their own business?

Who could possibly be that mad to want their own business?

(and what's the elephant got to do with it ..?)

I know its Sunday afternoon, but let's kick off with some maths ..

If you are thinking of starting your own business, don't.  Odds are (heavily ...) that you will fail.

If you get through the first year without caving-in, you deserve an award.

Make it to three and Prince Charles will probably call ...

If you manage to survive the Darwin:Smith cull, then next stop it's Forbes Richest...

No.  The chance of you making that list is closer to zero than Earth is to the sun ...

So what is it that drives the fascination of being an entrepreneur?  An overly-confident command of statistical probability; sado-masochistic employment tendencies; the opportunity to meet the Duchess of Cornwall?

Or is it simply destiny?  A birth defect ... genetic typo ...

However you got hooked, here's the good news .. you are not alone!  Not even lonely ...

In fact, there are 60 million+ owners of SMEs around the world.  Me included.  All numerically myopic; gluttons for daily punishment; up for any opportunity (well, almost ...).

And we wouldn't have it any other way!

So, what's the elephant got to do with the price of rice at noon on a summer's day?

Well, since you ask, he's called Jumbo.  Which was also the name of a celebrity elephant back in the Victorian day - and by association, the name given to the 27-ton dynamo at the business end of a certain Babcock & Wilkins steam engine.  With me so far?

The above kit comprised the world's first public power station, built in London, 1882 by Thomas Edison.  Tipping point technology; the world never look backed.

Over the 135 years since, design, scale and energy fuels have evolved - but the principle purpose of a power station remains as it did back in Jumbo's day - the generation of electricity.  It hasn't evolved...

Until now.

mc2POWERSTATION is a new breed of power station.  Unlike its predecessors, it’s not designed to produce electricity.  But instead a completely different resource - one treasured and pursued by over 60 million businesses around the world today …

Profit.

mc2POWERSTATION harnesses the incredible, natural energy of enterprise, and converts it to money, through a process known as Profitable Marketing.

The genius of the mc2POWERSTATION is in its simplicity.  Spend less on marketing than the income it creates.  And you generate profit.

For Profitable Marketing to work, there are two essential ingredients - low marketing costs combined with high performing campaigns.

Any other form of marketing short-circuits businesses, shields them from opportunity and drains their batteries (plus those of their owners!)

To convert your business to run Profitable Marketing, hook up to mc2POWERSTATION.  You will reduce costs and increase sales ...

And generate more profit from your business.
