Top Benefits of Staffing Agencies

True or false: You need your new hire yesterday. Chances are that is true for you in at least one segment of your business and maybe in many divisions of your company. Have you considered reaching out to a staffing agency?

Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of discussing business over coffee with many entrepreneurs and small business owners. These one-on-one conversations are something I really enjoy and the opportunity to bounce ideas off others is invaluable for me. Yet it is so interesting how many in leadership positions are unaware of the numerous benefits that stem from engaging a staffing agency to aide in their hiring process. Staffing agencies like EG are adept at providing leaders like you with the people you need to stay productive.

Since you are reading this blog you must at least have some interest in the benefits of using a staffing agency. Maybe you just need an extra set of hands to handle a big project or manage through a surge in business. From my perspective, here are some of the main benefits of engaging a staffing agency:

Expertise & Access – Helping you find the best possible employee is our business. It is what we do. That means we’re well-versed in employment trends, recruitment best practices and all the other factors that are not core to your business, but are what we live and breathe every day. We’ve built a proprietary screening process that puts us in a unique position to assess job candidates from a variety of angles. Why does it matter? It helps ensure you really are receiving the employee that is best suited for your job opening, not just somebody who simply wants a job.

Timing – You need your new hire yesterday. We get that. It’s why we have a streamlined process that allows us to expedite the hiring process and allows someone to walk into our office in the morning and start their first shift with your company later the same day.

Risk Reduction – When you use a staffing agency, you’re receiving the benefit of gaining employees, without a lot of the risk and liability that come with them.

Flexibility – Utilizing employees through a staffing company allows you to ramp up or down depending on your business’s production levels. If your business starts to increase, you have access to a qualified workforce that is available to start very soon.

Productivity – Leveraging temporary workers when your business has an overload of orders to fill is a simple way to alleviate burn out from your full-time staff.

At the end of the day, people make all the difference. Agree? If you are looking to fill a position now, why not hire a staffing agency?

Have you ever used a staffing agency? If so what are some of the benefits you’ve seen? Let me know in the comments below.
