Diversity and Inclusion in Arbitrator and Mediator Selection Begins with You: Diversity and Inclusion in ADR. Corporations are increasingly holding law firms accountable for diversity and inclusion within the teams that handle their litigation and corporate matters. How can we make diversity in ADR an increased priority for the users of ADR? What can in-house counsel do to support diversity and inclusion in ADR? Diversity and Inclusion in Arbitrator and Mediator Selection Begins with You: Diversity and Inclusion in ADR. Corporations are increasingly holding law firms accountable for diversity and inclusion within the teams that handle their litigation and corporate matters. How can we make diversity in ADR an increased priority for the users of ADR? What can in-house counsel do to support diversity and inclusion in ADR? Is this another way that in-house counsel can impact the pipeline of diverse candidates in the legal profession? Join us for an interactive panel discussion between litigators, in house counsel, and ADR professionals, about ways legal teams can work together to increase diversity during the mediator selection process, as well as in arbitrator selection through drafting ADR clauses.

  • We Can Make Change Happen!!!! Aileen Casanave, Esq. urges thousands of marchers onward in San Jose's Equality for Women's Rights march.

    San Jose/Silicon Valley NAACP Newsletter

    We Can Make Change Happen!
I challenge you to become a passionate champion of women's equality: at home, at school, at work and in your community. There is a saying that I was raised with and it continues to guide me in all of my actions:
Evil flourishes when we let the government infringe on women's rights!

Volunteer!! Volunteerism it is at an all time low. Get up, go to work, come home, do your chores and go out and volunteer. If you are looking for a place to volunteer, the…

If you are looking for a place to volunteer, the African-American Community Service Agency on 6th street in San Jose provides STEM-based projects that teach our girls and young women to code... thanks to a grant from Intel. My parents, Joan and Alden Casanave, raised us to live a life of service to our community and church. If you support your community, everyone - rich and poor alike- benefits from your services and we all come together as friends.
To my colleagues in the judicial system and the legal profession: your role as the legal watchdogs of our nation, is most critical! As the government tries to pass laws that infringe on the rights of women; as the government tries to restrict or reverse the women's protective rights stemming from Roe v. Wade; as the government wants to make laws about our health care rights; lawyers must act quickly and decisively! Lawyers must act quickly to protect women's rights!

    OUR VOICES SHALL BE HEARD!
    OUR RIGHTS SHALL BE PROTECTED!

WE SHALL CONTINUE TO MARCH UNITL THE QUESTION OF WOMEN'S EQUALITY IS NO LONGER A QUESTION!

WE WILL CONTINUE TO MARCH UNTIL WOMEN'S EQUALITY
IS A SUSTAINABLE, IRREVERSIBLE, GENERATIONAL FACT!"

Ms. Casanave Esq. is a community activist extraordinaire. She has won numerous awards for her community service and in her legal profession. She remains committed to achieving justice for all.
